Can I win or should I take a risk on the captain and/or use my last trade?

He is currently 260 points ahead and has Vlaustin to play

I have Hanley, Staker, Lee and Griffen

Both of us have the C on Ablett and I have 1 trade left + $49k

Here's my team

Please help me win this cash league!

Something like bye bye Lee, swing Staker forward to cover Walker and grab best defender going around like Murphy.

Make sure you look at late changes too.

In all honesty though, I reckon you should have him covered as long as Lee goes OK.

Also, bank Colquhoun any way you can over Staker if you are able to. ie Clisby to field and E on Colq.

Cheers for the reply Doc. Unfortunatley Melbourne's already played so can't field Clisby for loophole. If I swing Staker forward I only have $332k to spend on a defender if I upgrade Lee which won't get me much.

Any thoughts on trading Montagna in for Cotchin? Not sure how he's pulled up after that knock to the knee but on the other hand they're playing GWS. Also got the option of banking Crouch's 82 for Cotchin.

Damn Lee out hurts. Traded in Mayes as he was the best FWD that I could afford. Should I roll the dice on the Captain now though? He has C on Ablett which I have matched so far but now tossing up Griffen or Rocky. Argghhh!

No. You should win as long as late changes and subs on't stuff you around.

I would cover his Ablett captain with Ablett. Imagine relating the story to mates and the flak you'll cop when you confess to have taken the C off the best player.
