Stuck! what to do next and who to bench

I am really stuck on what to do next and deciding who to bench each week is adding further confusion, currently ranked about 250th so the odd POD to try and climb a few more places in the coming weeks appeals!

Current Team pre trades is:
DEF: Goddard, Heppell, Hibberd, Gibbs, H.Shaw, Grimes (Staker, Wilson)
MID: GAJ, Swan, Pendlebury, Beams, Jack, Barlow, Griffen, Jelwood (Cotchin, Hutchings)
RUC: Cox, Goldstein (Nicholls, Ceglar)
FWD: Johnson, Martin, Rockliff, Cloke, JJK, Bartel (Franklin, B.Kennedy)

Only have $12k in the bank at present.

Nicholls - Grundy free's you up a ton of cash then Grimes - Hanley/Enright :)

Logical decision to boot Nicholls for Grundy. Frees up loads of cash & then upgrade Grimes.

Then Staker or Grimes to Hanley or Enright

Trading Nicholls out to Grundy leaves you with the possibility of no rucks bench cover as Grundy and Ceglar have poor JS
At least when Nicholls is back you know he should play every game for the rest of the year.

In your scenario, I'd look at doing the following:

Either:

Nicholls -> Grundy (If named) OR Hutchings -> Grigg (Better option imho).

then

Staker -> Enright/Hanley/McKenzie(Good run ahead), benching Grimes at D7.

I like this. With Cotch already on your bench you can easily afford to downgrade Hutchy.
THen use the case to upgrade Staker

Thanks for the advice everyone, much appreciated.
Ive just edited the original post as I hadnt realised that half the post didnt go up, so im on the same page as most by the look of it  :D

Re trading in Hanley/Enright for Grimes, im tempted to keep him this week as he has GC but he's only worth keeping if I field him, so then someone else has to sit on the bench and with Gibbs playing the way he is he's the obvious choice, but it would be a massive risk to bench him...

I risked no ruck cover last week and am assuming Nicholls will be back this week and see the season out, whilst Grundy would be nice im worried he'll get dropped and leave me with no cover and I only really need to do one major downgrade to get enough cash for all remaining trades, and Hutchings seems to be the best route to do that as ive a very strong M9.

Which then leads me to who to have at M9 this week, trying to guess who will be the lowest scoring of those 9 is impossible, but Pendlebury might actually be the one which is a scary prospect :o

Franklin also being out this week pretty much knocks him out of my team, so that's likely to be one trade which could involve a Staker DPP move if need be.
