Which DEF should Hanley become? Cash is not an issue

R.Henderson - the DEF/FWD de jour #1 but will it last?
1 (2.2%)
L.Henderson - the DEF/FWD de jour #2 but just waiting to be tagged out of the game
0 (0%)
S.Thompson - best average, horrible run home
4 (8.7%)
R.Murphy - good POD given the Doggies' new found confidence. Good run home
2 (4.3%)
C.Enright - Mr Reliable but low ceiling
3 (6.5%)
H.Taylor - good POD with 3 of 4 SC finals games at Simonds Stadium
5 (10.9%)
C.Dixon - he's back. And with ruck stocks running low could be a good POD
13 (28.3%)
T.McKenzie - the Cannon
18 (39.1%)
M.Johnson - decent recent form, great run home

I really like Dixon, take out his 2 injured games and he has averaged 111! And with GCS' great run home and low ruck stocks he should easily average that for his last 4 games that coincide with SC finals, only I'm unsure on how he will score against WCE up at Subi.

I just got Dixon myself having watched him on the weekend
he really looked as if he was moving well and as has been
said a good run home good luck

Dixon is great when on the park but too injury prone. Cannon for mine

Ricochet

I really like Dixon. Injuries are a concern but with only a few games to go surely he can last

A bit of sticky tape and she'll be right!

I'd go Thompson...

A hard run home is always good for a full back, a lot of ball to be one and most of them will be contested

See, you would think that but all of Scotty Thompson's tons (bar one against Richmond) have been against current bottom 10 sides.

164 vs Bris
117 vs Saints
109 vs Suns
124 vs GWS
119 vs Richmond
126 vs Blues

Hasn't been disgraced against the top sides, but those big scores are the main reason for his high average.

I'd toss up between Dixon, for big scores and bags of goals against weaker opposition or McKenzie to rack them up off half back again against slightly easier matchups.

Depends a bit what you're looking for in defence I reckon, I'm a big fan of being almost able to lock in a consistent 85+, and rely on the other lines to do the big make or break scoring, so I've been an advocate of McKenzie all year long.

But Dixon a very good finals POD.

Great info.

So looks like it's down to the Cannon vs Dixon... proven performer all year vs the X-factor

1/    Dixon    2/   The Cannon   3/   Harry Taylor
I picked Dixon first expecting Nicholls to be out for a while and Dixon to be fresh having just come back from injury.
