Hey guys

I'm currently ranked 62nd and asked you all for some help earlier this week with what to do with my team to give me the best shot at the 50k. Thanks to all who provided advice. I wasn't planning on trading Dangerfield but you guys persuaded me to change my mind.

I had decided to trade Goodes for Roughy via Staker but now that I have thought about it a bit more I think that it would be a better idea to bring in a DEF for Goodes and leave Staker as a FWD. The reason being that if I was to move Staker into my DEF then my FWDS would be way too stacked and it would be too much of a headache choosing who to play as the EMG each week. I will utilise the loophole where I can but at least with the weeks that I can't use it I can confidently select Hartlett as my EMG in DEF and Staker as my EMG in FWD.

So this week I will trade out Goodes -> SD Thompson. Thompson has been in great form as of late and is a really good POD. I need to be bringing in some POD's if I am a chance to catch the leaders. The other trade that I will do is Danger -> Griffen. I just think that I need Griffen in there as he is the only real super premium that I dont have and I can't see him slowing down.

Next week I will trade out Nicholls -> McBean to generate some cash and also give me a RUC/FWD link and the other trade I will do will be K Martin -> Beams or possibly Danger if he is back from injury. Either of these guys will be a great POD.

Team will then look like this at the start of SC Finals (round 20) with 3 trades left:

DEF: Goddard, SD Thompson, Hanley, Heppell, Gibbs, Ibbotson (Hartlett, Wilson)
MID: Ablett, Pendlebury, Selwood, JPK, Griffen, Cotchin, Fyfe, Dangerfield/Beams (T Mitchell, Saunders)
RUC: Minson, Goldstein (McBean, Currie)
FWD: A Walker, Cox, D Martin, Rockliff, JJK, Stevie J (Staker, B Kennedy)

What do you think of my revised plan and are there any other suggestions? All advice appreciated and cheered.

Goodes to Thompson is sound this week.

I would hold Danger if possible as your POD for finals (save a trade) - Playing Mitchell and seeing if by Downgrading Nicholls when he peaks going Martin to Griffen. (Hoping Martin gets a game or 2 as he has a low B/E to rise in value as well) Leaves 4 trades for finals and a better position than most.

Nice team as well

Thanks for the advice Ringo.

I can't hold Danger this week though unfortunately because I have K Martin and Saunders on my bench and I do not want to be playing either of those guys on my field. Chances are that K Martin won't play this week anyway. Normally I could switch Saunders with a DEF premo to put on the field in my MIDS but this week I can't due to the injury to Hanley.

So if I was to hold Danger this week I would be looking at a donut or a low score from Saunders if he plays which will basically rule me out of overall contention.

OK No worries then Danger to Griffen is a strong trade,

Both trade options are sound, as is Ringo's first response. If K Martin is selected on the field v GWS it just may be worth the weeks wait. Maybe have a look at some of the teams you have to overtake and see how they are constructed. Hope you win.

SD Thompson has gone a long way from the spud I traded in mid last season! His 180 in the GF was his saving grace.

Sound trades, another option down back, and a risky one would be Dixon if named. Went BIG in most uninjury affected games earlier  this year.
