Trades this week are vital for most. Ive got the following planned so far. What do you think?

Backs - Goddard, Heppell, Hanley, Gibbs, Ibbotson, Grimes - Emerg - Clisby, Thurlow
Mids - Swan, Pendles, Stanton, Swallow, Griffen, Ablett,  Barlow, T Mitchell Emerg - B Kennedy, K. Martin.
Rucks - Cox, Roughead - Emerg - Nicholls, Daw
Fwds - Bartel, Martin, Stokes, J. Kennedy, Johnson, Rockliff  Emerg T. Lee. and Gray.

With $37,200 in the bank I think the best trades are;
Bartell to Henderson and T. Mitchell to Cotchin.
OR
K.Martin/Daw to a rookie and sub Gray into the mids for S Selwood/ J. Selwood, Cornes etc...

Hanley out completely ruins this! Hanley to Henderson/Ellis (any defender under $411,500) Bartel to N. Roo then?!

mmmmmmm you are in a tricky position. Your weakest point in your team atm is due to the fact that Bartel is not playing, and I know Hendo is in some good form, but he is better to bring into defence rather in the forward line. There 2 better options for you to get and thats Riewoldt and Cloke.

What I was thinking is possibly something like this.

This round downgrade Martin to Carter, then upgrade Bartel to Nroo
cash: $123,400

Next round downgrade Daw to a rookie $89,300 (assuming you have an R3), upgrade B.Kennedy to a midfielder priced at $491,000. An under performing Jack could be the option, thus sending Mitchell to the bench as your m9.

You get my idea though by not bringing in players that are not entirely proven players to be in your final team, because it will be unknown by how they will score.

I was thinking the same thing but liking Cotchin at his price and was thinking of using Henderson as a stepping stone to a premo such as N. Roo. Also keeps a nice DPP option open if one of the backs gets injured...

So then the week after I can downgrade one of Kennedy, Martin, Daw, Thurlow etc. to give me enough cash to make another upgrade.

Im also going to have to get rid of Swallow with the way he has been performing of late but that is a few rounds away really...

Another option is Bartel to N. Roo and Gray to Marc Murphy (another stepping stone) through DPP with Kennedy.

If your gonna go this option then I would go Cotchin and Hendo as your "stepping stone". The only problem is that you are relying on Hendo to score well enough to continue up in price. Nroo is also going to increase after last weeks performance

well I guess go Hanley to Hendo, hold Bartel and field on Gray this week, whilst downgrading Martin to Carter.

Then the following week downgrade Daw and upgrade Bennedy to a premo mid and slot Titch into m9 and place Bartel on field over Gray.

Pity you will miss out on NRoo for now. You can still maybe get Nroo later by trading stokes out, but that is more of a luxury trade. Hopefully you won't get anymore injuries :)

hahahaha I'm not saying Stokes is a must do trade, its more of a luxury trade, maybe it could be Jimmy to be traded out of the side. All I'm saying is that you would like NRoo in your side :)
