Looking at the forward line this year their seems to be a lot of options for cheapies (skipworth, higgins, krakours, hentshel, lucas etc) and rookies (yarran, zieball, sidebottom, gumby, grant, brown, hogan etc.) Mid priced forwards, as ever, struggle for consistancy and are risky propects which puts the emphasis on premium forwards. This year however their seems considerable risk associated with most of the usual names.

The big 3 CHF (Roo, Brown, Pav) are all coming off injuries and poor form over the preseason so look like they will have a slow start to the season. Franklin seems overpriced and he is guarenteed to have a couple of poor games so seems likely to have his value plummet andthis remains a good trade target. Chapman hasn't played a full season in a while and seems an injury risk. Richardson, N Brown, Harvey and B Johnson are getting on in years and will have to start fading soon (although I've written off Richo before.) Murphy, Giansiracusa and ROK all play high  and with clusters being all the rage this year they will struggle to find their usual space IMO (an argument that may also apply to the CHFs.) Stokes and Medhurst are massively overpriced so that only leave S Johnson, Didak and Deledio, which I have gone with purely by eliminating all the others. To be honest I am not entirely happy with this forward line so any thoughts or comments would be gratly appreciated.

i am gonna roll with stevie j and didak at the start. if brennan is fit i will have him too. i have pavlich too, although he's gonna go down in value, its a trade or 2 that i'd have to use to get him down the track, and i do think riewoldt will have a few more bad games at seasons start than pav. deledio will get tagged imo, so i'm gonna hold off on him, but i will look to get him at some stage.
