ESPY's awarded the game of the year too........ Spurs vs Miami, game 6 ::) what a surprise :P

Probably no complaints there? Was controversial but the game was still epic and one of the best you'll see in a life time. Although... I thought game 7 was close to being better in terms of skill level, both teams were on fire (apart from Bosh Spice :P ) and it came right down to the wire, until one of the most devastating moments in NBA history occured

But tbh, this game would have to be up there! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RY7J_bNsdtM
Can't beat 3OT and Pierce coming up clutch ;D

you sure cant. Lebron and Allen doing clutch plays now that happens all the time but for Pierce to do it amazing, has a very low shot of that happening.
Pierce has always been better than Ray, PP creates his own shot and runs the clutch offense through him, Ray has the perfect jump shot which he hits! Not as impressive as Pierce though...

Dont see many 35 year olds as clutch as Pierce! Lets see if Lebron can better Pierce's clutch shots when he is an old man. Probably wont see better than this though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_uulujs-MM

we are talking clutch, Allen is undoubtely the more clutch of the two.

I know we talking clutch, and I still would take Pierce to have the ball in his hands going for the win than Ray purely because he can create his own shot better.

Kind of hard to compare those two imo, mainly bcos PP creates his shot (has the ball in his hands) Ray does all his work off the ball catching and shooting, rarely takes anyone off the dribble, hard to say what is the more difficult skill set in truth but id lean towards Ray's ability to be incredibly unique, and even more impressive that he can perform it under pressure, Reggie miller and Ray Allen r two of the purest shooting guards ive ever seen, most SGs like the ball in their hands these days but im always in awe of the art of getting open of screens and cuts to be open for a fraction of a second and bang they make u pay.
Here is a fun excercise/warm up i do regularly, next time ur having a few shots take 10 shots where u create off the dribble, and 10 shots where u catch and shoot from the same spot, if u dont have someone to pass it to u just add lib, touch the ball as little as possible and dont face the basket until ur facing up to shoot, bet u will feel more comfortable having had the ball in ur hands than the catch and shoot skill, in my experiences the off the dribble shots i hit a higher % on but there have been times that ive got the catch and shoot thing really flowing, its a crazy feeling, with in a fraction of a second u feel like u can pop up an knock it down from anywhere, like auto pilot ur not giving the ring ur total focus more sniping it at the critical moment
