Finishing team

Hi Guys, all going well this should be the last question I put before the FF gods this season  :P

Looking to finish off my team, currently stands at:
Goddard, Shaw, Gibbs, Birch, Hanley, Goodes, (Mackie, Clisby)
Ablett, Pendles, Swan, Jelwood, Jack, JPK, Cotch, Priddis (T Mitchell, Kmart)
Goldstein, Nicholls (Gawn, McBean)
Bartel, Walker, Cox, JJK, S Johnson, Franklin (Staker, Caff)

4 trades, $147,100 left

Only going for league, currently in 2nd (4 tied on points though).

Thinking possible areas of improvement are Mackie in def (goodes, clisby on bench), Ruck (though Nicholls is doing better than most of the premiums), and maybe upgrading caff to Rocky.

Thinking Caff to Rocky this week before he goes back up, but not sure what after that. Worth holding Birchall?

Last upgrade would be gawn to a semi premo ruck and decide whether to field them over Nicholls (had Berger earlier but traded out when injured).

Any thoughts/suggestions appreciated.

eh, it all looks ok to me. with 4 trades and that lineup i'd probably just sit tight for 2-3 more weeks and re-assess.

Mackie is good enough to cover Birch in your case, Caff and Staker covering up fwd where is could come undone in one bad week

I just hope people running with Nicholls as R2 have dpp or trades left..

Yeah, was thinking Mackie was good cover til he spuded up with 20 odd last week :-* hopefully he pulls some form around this week. Got dpp with Cox for ruck so that's not too bad. Thinking behind rocky now is he would be a good swap for spuddy if needed on field, and he is set to jump about 50k in the next two weeks...

Nice team with no glaring deficiencies.

I think if you can bear not to trade until finals (assuming no LTI's etc) then your 4 trades will be very very handy when the coaches start playing funny buggars with general soreness etc.

Sit on your hands this week...and maybe next.

Hold Birchall unless you hear he's had a setback.

Caff to ROCKY????? Are you serious? Before last weeks game, would you have considered getting Rocky in. NO! Thats coz he wasnt scoring well enough. Now after one good game you want him?
