Ok, jumped on him as a very cheap mid option when bottomed out to $450k after injury, and plan was to have him as a solid M8. And whilst scoring ok he is not pumping out the big scores. If it wasn't for his big last qtr against Adelaide he would have had a rubbish score.

Tough run coming up:

Rd 16: Freo - lowest score he has had all year was 86 vs them (excl. injury game). Will he get Crowley?
Rd 17: Swans
Rd 18: Bulldogs
Rd 19: Suns
Rd 20: Bombers
Rd 21: Cats
Rd 22: Pies
Rd 23: Crows (AAMI - not a happy hunting ground for him)

He is now $520k and a relatively low BE of 87. With other players around the same price (ie Jack, Jelwood, Smitchell) is it almost time to say goodbye?

I don't know why people are jumping off. He is still pumping out 100 each week ? Isn't that what you want ? Lowest of 86 I'm keeping :)

Definitely won't be getting rid Priddis. For 450k he was an excellent pickup, and his scores have been extremely consistent. For me he's been basically more reliable than Cotchin and JPK since I traded him in!

Here are his scores against those teams last season:

Fremantle: 119 & 107 (Crowley went to Shuey and Kerr - still doubt Priddis will be the one getting tagged if these guys don't play)
Sydney: 128
Bulldogs: 118
Gold Coast: 117
Essendon: Got knocked out for 24
Geelong: 111
Collingwood: 83 & 134 (81 in semi final)
Adelaide: 110 (in Adelaide)

Priddis is the sort of guy who should score well no matter the opposition. Doesn't get the tagger, and even if I had some trades left would still be sticking with him as M8!

Yep exactly! See no reason to justify a trade for a bloke averaging over 107 (sub game taken away) to be traded to other premos like Jack, Selwood or S Michell. He's good for 90-120 every single week? Has scored 10 tons and only gone under 100 three times and has played other tough teams in that process.

Rd 23 is at Parersons by the way.. Priddis scored 129 at AAMI last week.

You can choose to get rid of him, but come finals I'd like to know I can have a bloke who will score me a 100 without you having to worry, and my other Mids can do my big scoring, Good luck to you!

Priddis is Mr Consistent, he is not going to pump out big scores but you can count on him for a ton or close to it. If you want someone who could net you a 150 then you take someone like Danger, who also has the chance of netting you a 50... Priddis doing stellar if he's an M8, let's be honest!

Blues cubed, if you have 10 trades and a finished team, go ahead, look for an advantage. But seriously, I wouldn't...

Cheers guys, sound advice. He will stay!

Crowley will probably go to Gaff because everybody tags Gaff.

Keep him!!!!!

He hasn't scored under 80 for 2 and a half years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Enough said

Priddis is so reliable. He doesn't pull out massive scores, but at least you're guaranteed 100-110

That's a crazy stat! The last time he scored under 80 was against Carlton in round 17, 2010! Not including games where he's been knocked out of course.

Love to see how other super premiums shape up against that statistic

Priddis is the consistency king ! Super value if you picked him at 450k. :)

agreed, Wines + $70K to priddis was the best buy.
