Hi guys. Looking to bring in a D5 to accompany Goddard, Gibbs, Heater and Ibbo. Currently have Goodes and Terlich, one of them to stay as D6. I have 80k to upgrade with, though I'm also more than likely going to downgrae Sauce so money not an issue.

Trying to decide a) which to get rid of, and b) who to bring in.

Currently thinking Terlich out for either Eski or Hanley, can't really decide. Hanley definitely easier run, and cheaper, but then there's the Voss effect and the fact the SC final will be vs Geelong at the Cattery...
Eski harder run home, 50k more expensive, but has been going well and a bit more certainty than with Hanley. However his final is against Hawthorn who he posted only 38 on earlier in the year... I've got 2 likely rivals in my cash league, one has eski the other hanley so it's not really a big deal.

My current conclusion is Terlich to Hanley with the hope Eski comes down a bit and I can do a finals upgrade of Goodes to Eski if warranted.

Thoughts please?

I'd go Terlich to Hanley. Goodes has been more trustworthy all season, whereas Terlich has only really fired in the last month or so. With Brisbane's run home (excluding the GF), I'd expect Hanley to avg around 95-100, maybe a bit more if he kicks a couple of goals.

Hanley over Eski for me.
What about Jack Grimes? A lot cheaper than the others and is just as good.

Thanks guys

JROO I was thinking about Grimes but can't bring myself to do it. He may play out the rest of the season in fine form but I see him as a bigger risk for injury (not that you can ever predict the future).

Yeah that's fair enough. Grimes is a risk because of his injury history and if you don't too many trades left you're better of going with the safer option in Hanley.
