Houli tempting me, want to wait and see with Hanley for a few more weeks if he gets moved back to where he belongs, he'll fall in price either way.

Ibbotson the other major option, correct me if I'm wrong don't watch a lot of Freo games but he seems to get most of his points from intercept marking? Which therefore means he's untaggable really, the rebounders off half back are a lot easier to shut down on.

I'm not sold on any of those options...

Hanley: Playing forward and while Voss is in reign, we never know what could happen.
Ibbotson: In good form...but his best average for a season before this is in the 70s so he is not proven.
Ellis: A lot of money for a 2nd year player
Hibberd: Will he be able to keep it up?

Trent McKenzie could be good as he has a very nice run home and Houli is in good form as well. Another option could be Heppell, thoughts?

I know it's probably very paranoid of me but I'd be wary of picking up Essendon players...just an extra element of risk that isn't required IMO.

Can someone tell me something about Hombsch?
Scores of 121, 93, 101 in the last 3. Just saying.

I'll have to bring in 3 defenders over the next two weeks, and am currently looking at getting Houli and Heppell this week, and Hanley the next. Hanley's draw is too good to ignore especially at his price, Heppell is pretty much a midfielder at this point and Houli is just playing really well, and has proved he can evade the tag. I would like to get Ibbotson but don't really know too much about him and can't be sure he won't start getting tagged or something similar.

Out of the four you have suggested I would be leaning towards Hanley just because he is so cheap. Surely he will start posting good scores again soon and has a dream run from here on in.

The other one I would just toss a coin. I think all 3 will score similarly from here and are similarly priced too. If I had to choose I would go with Hibberd, just.

Has anyone considered Waters? I know it might be a bit early but with Hurn down, he could step up and flourish despite only playing a handful of games this year
