you sure doctor? i got told that its your best 18 regardless of them being on the pine etc.

if you have all round 11 players in your forwards and rucks out, but every single one of your mids and backs are playing then that is 18 players and all of their scores would count..

clarification once more..

Sorry, I don't think so.

If all your forwards and rucks are out, then you will have 6 defenders and 8 mids available to score since they have to be ON FIELD.

Balance and a little planning combined with some manic panic trading will ease the donut burden - but be warned - you will eat a few.

cheers for that doctor and ringo! hopefully will work itself out

So, I'm assuming that the head-to-head scoring also won't really be relevant during the matches, as they are only taking the top 18 scores out of potentially 22 scorers. And the top 18 scorers on the field can't be ascertained until the last game is played, correct?

At this stage my bye structure is 8 - 8 - 14, so I will potentially have 22 scoring players on the field during the first two bye rounds. And I won't know who the top 18 are until the end of the round, and if my opponent also has 22 on the field, then at the end of the round the four lowest scores will drop off.

Thinking too hard about this I think!! But I think the bye rounds are a great opportunity for strategists to make their move.
