l knew the kid would make it.

l used to work with his dad, and the commitment Sam has shown to his footy is incredible. Living in Mildura and intending to make football your life isn't the easiest road. So as a 16 year old Sam decided to move to Bendigo (400km away) to improve his chances, and play for the Bendigo Pioneers......it's a big thing for a kid that age to move away from his family. He's also had to overcome injury issues too.
