I'm a newbee to the site. Any Fresh ideas for my SC team please?

Hi all, i have just joined the site today after discovering it a month or so ago.
Below is my SC team as of this morning. I was lucky enough to make 2 crutial trades last week which saw me get over 2500. Fluked it a bit with B Ellis.
As i have said, I have fluked a couple of good trades in the last 2 weeks.

Anybody willing to have a quick look at my team and offer any advice? It would be greatly appreciated.

Backs: Goddard Heppell Ellis Terlich Gibbs Vlastuin bench: Stevenson Thurlow

Mids: Ablett Pendles Kennedy(syd) Watson Swan Murphy O'Meara S Mitchell bench: Evans Viney

Rucks: Cox Leuenberger bench: Blicavs Currie

Fwds: Martin Bartel Rockliff Kennedy Zorko Dwyer bench: Mayes Macaffer

I have $90,200 left and 16 trades. I was thinking Kennedy (WC) OUT and Buddy IN. And Blicavs OUT and a rookie ruck IN.

B: damn solid, good mix in there but stevenson should be your first point of call at trading out. Stevenson > Staker?
M: really strong line up again although youre a player short here
R: perfect
F: again pretty perfect!

JJK has a few easy beats coming up and should score well against them, however buddys time is now..
personally i would downgrade stevenson to staker and upgrade mayes to buddy

are you not thinking about getting nic nat in?

other than that your team is looking really solid!

Forgot the other Mid- S Mitchell.
16 trades left so a bit skinny on that front.

I would do the Stevenson to Staker trade

This may be from Left Field for you but I would look at Going Zorko to Goldstein, Minson or McEvoy moving Cox back to forwards. Zorko is a bit inconsistent this move will strengthen your forwards and give you a prem Ruck.

I am going to give Zorko a couple more weeks as he is hitting some form now.
Your suggestion is very good and I like it. That's probably the issue- I dont think laterally enough.

Very nice team and welcome to the forum :)
I would look at Stevenson to Staker then JJK to either Buddy or Stevie J. Or if you want a more unique pick then I'd look at Roughead.
Or you could even do no trades this week, as you your team looks pretty good!

Thanks. I want to get Staker but will wait one more week.
The idea of not trading this week is looming large and i am playing a mid table team as well.

16 trades is not a lot.

Blicavs can wait.

Stevenson hopefully will miss so you can hold him without losing money and grab Staker the following week.

I think NicNat and Buddy are priorities but watch the byes.

Can you see a way to get Buddy after his bye and NicNat the week after that ie after his bye?

Tanking round 13? 3 or 4 mid donuts there I think... And one in defence.

Just watch who you trade in relative to byes over the next few weeks.

I am lucky in round 13 i am playing the team who is 2nd bottom on the ladder and winless so far.

I have to hold trades this week that's for sure.

Looking at Nic Nat 1st and Buddy 2nd due to the rest/bye Buddy may be given.
