What do we a supporters make of this article giving Voss 2 months to save job.

Are the club doing the right thing by giving this deadline.  Is it realistic given we face Eagles, Dons, Blues, Pies, Dockers and Hawks before the Suns clash?

Has Voss run out of chances as Lions favoured son?

Will Voss be the first coach sacked this year? (Harvey will take over in the interim).

If Voss is removed who would you like to see coaching?  Personally I would like to see Paul Roos take over.

Whilst I really respect Voss as a player I do not feel he has not translated into a top coach. Still believe he would have been a much better prepared coach had he taken the Assistant Coach job at Eagles for a couple of years.

We have a nice young and talented list at the moment but Voss can not seem to take them to the next level  and this is not helped by his revolving door policy.

My thoughts expressed honestly.

I hope Harvey can coach us next year. I don't really want to see Voss gone from the club, but I would like to see him and Harvey swap positions at the club.

Yeah Voss is a champion and will always be a legend of the club, but he really needed to go and do an assistant coaching job somewhere else first. Imagine having him come in as senior coach now, full of experience and with a good game plan.

Personally I would like to see Paul Roos or Mark Williams coaching next year. Roos has been well documented, but is Williams a chance? He obviously still wants a senior job after missing out on GWS, and I think he would be really good for the club.

Poor team selections would be his first of many problems

Could not agree more with this bit, well said Ringo.

Same here I always thought that Voss should never have been made coach until he had been somewhere as an assistant first.

Main problem is the constant team changes instead of just sticking with a team and letting them go they just drop players at random no matter if they have played well or not and wtf do they keep subbing players off that have been playing well.

atm he has a few youngsters injured but the players he is picking from week to week either don't have a structured position on the ground for Voss to gauge their performance or seem lost with their roles.

he seems to be picking players for the wrong roles from what i have seen from them this year..... and i've mentioned this before but the injury list while not disconcertingly large has a lot of the good youngsters with LTI's not helping his aging forward and midfield lines

Agree on the injury front to youngsters Cic - Beams, Bartlett, Wrigley, Close, Polec and Wearden all would be putting pressure on for selection.

My main issue though with the coaching staf are that players are not really being given the chance to establish themselves.  Take Docherty played one game, sub the next and then dropped.  Karnezis starred in NAB cup average first game, sub the next and then dropped, Cornelius in and out.  IMO both Docherty and karnezis both should have been given extra games to try and establish themselves.  Both are now starring in the NEAFL.
