So he had an off night when he was injured early, get off his back. What'll make you even more angry is the fact that he'll be rested next week probably haha.

yeah why not... at least he won't be losing any money that way then swap him to abeltt!

Fact: Murphy injured his foot in the 1st quarter
Fact: At half time David Parkin said Murphy was struggling to move, plant and run with his foot injury
Fact: Murph was struggling to get to contests and played deep forward after half time only for rotations
Fact: You are a flog.

Marc Murphy needs to work harder defensively when he gets the heavy tag. No tackles tonight. #aflfantasy #supercoach

Was certainly injured but I dont think he is having a great season anyway. Didnt deal with the heavy tag last year and doesnt seem to have been able to push through it yet

Tried to tell people to stay away

Injured or not there is no denying he looks lost out there this year and his scores have been ordinary for a premium midfielder.

Just watching him play on a few occasions this year he never seems to work hard for the ball or even appear to call for it, he is often just in the picture near the ball carrier... then you watch someone like Judd play and he busts his ass to get to the ball, sure maybe they are different types of players but still there is something off about Murphy this year.

Well, I don't know about SC, but for my DT he is working wonders! Before the 53, he had 3 scores in a row above 115 and a 111 before that.
The fact is that the Saints are his worst team to play against. If he didn't get that injury, I would've expected around an 80ish from him. Still gonna keep him, and I'm not going to have all this angst and rage about it  ;D

Always thought he was a frontrunner, and a little on the frail side.  Plus he's a bit up himself.  Never had him, never will.

I can understand the criticism of Murphy, if the truth be known, he's been the difference between being 222nd and top 10. However, it's worth bearing in mind he has had a limited preseason and last night, battled through a foot injury.

Anyone who's considering trading him, my advice is to hold, he's a proven premium and should lift in the second half of the season. Carlton also have a softer draw coming up so I would expect Murph to begin churning out a few 120's.

Glad I picked other options as well....

Cruiseon

Genuine upgrade target in a few weeks - his value is going to plummet.

Yeah he's tempting at a bargain price HOWEVER he can't handle a tag. Unless Judd steps it up he will continue to get the hard tag nearly every week.

I knew this would happen so I stayed away. He's easier to tag and yet getting better than Judd so of course he'll be tagged more and more. He does need to work harder defensively and lay a few more tackles too.
