Brisbane had Alastair Lynch. /thread (Lynchy is one of my favourite players of all time, don't say it much though)

Really like Lynchy as well. My favourite Lynch moment was the 2004 Grand Final when he announced his "retirement" by flattening Wakelin in the first minute.
That was my favourite Brisbane moment the 2004 GF..... :P

Would probably say bombers of 2000 was a better side than Brisbane 01-03 and Geelong 07-, but obviously only won 1/3 as many flags so the Lions and Cats sides are greater teams.

Would lean towards Brisbane as better, because I rate the aforementioned Lynchy but also Black, Voss, Aker (3 brownlow medallists), and other guns like Lappin, Brown, Ashcroft and Hart above Bartel and Ablett (Brownlows) and Scarlett, Selwood, Chappy and Corey.

Go away essendon scum, Geelong/Brisbane > Essendon.
Essendon better team over one season, we were so dominant in 2000 yet Geelong & Brissy better over longer period. I won't say Brissy are better than Geelong just cause they had so many top picks. I believe Brissy were a team of champions and used that to their advantage but I reckon the Geel team from 2007 to even now are a champion team.
