Who will be the top 6 Forwards (Avg) by years end? (read post first)

Daisy
Cloke
Dusty
Chappy
Bartel
Roo

So I am hugely confident that the following 3 will be in the top 6 forwards by avg:

Stevie J
Rockie
Buddy (I know he is a bit out of form at the moment but if not in the top 6 i will be very surprised)

So which 3 would you pick in the poll of the others to be the remaining in the top 6 by years end?

Are there any others you would have picked from?

Jukes

If you asked this a fortnight ago most people would have said Westhoff :P

I reckon SJ, Rocky, Cloke, Bartel, Thomas and NRoo

I agree with Jukes except sub in Martin for Cloke IMO. If he puts more of those four quarter efforts in this year will average very well

Windigo

Johnson, Rockliff, Riewoldt, Martin, Cloke & Bartel. Franklin is a close 7th...

subterrane

Johnson, Rockliff, Franklin, Martin, Bartel and Chappy (don't know why so many have written him off?)

Capper

the top 6 that im trying to get in to my team are SJ, Dusty, Bartel, Daisy, Nroo and Robbo.

Jroo and Buddy to just miss out

Struggling to put Roo in mine, just keep thinking he will drop off, but added to the Poll anyway.

Does anyone else think we are being a bit hasty with Daisy? A sub-affected score, a poor score, and a very good score... Which one will happen most often?

I reckon Stevie J, Rockliff, Buddy, Nroo & Dusty easily :) If I had to choose a sixth it would have to be Cloke he's been fantastic and should average high 90's but could possibly go 100+ depending on how high Collingwood fly. Out of the 5 stated before I think the only one Cloke might beat will be Dusty or Buddy

Adamant

Lol at people writing off Buddy. ::)

Was just thinking that Ads... He'll probably be involved in one of my trades leading into Round 12 after his bye, should be nicely valued then.

Spanner221

Bring him in in 2 weeks time. Plays gws, gc, melbourne. Should be scoring pretty well for them

Daisy, Chappy and ZORKO
Mate I have strong doubts about all three. Chappy's injury has already had a severe effect on his season and I think this will continue plus he's always been the consistent type of player whilst Johnson has been the yo-yo. I don't think he's been scoring enough to prove that he can consistently maintain 100+ each week, I have him pinned for the 80-90 range, really is the death of a legend I still remember when he used to be a must have pumping out 115 ppg.

I have strong doubts about Daisy as well. His start pretty much will screw up his average and I'm not jumping on until he proves that the game wasn't a one off occurrence. I don't trust him and a maximum of $10k extra is the price I'm willing to pay for confirmation. He's a proven performer but only has 3 years of proven performance with averages of 95, 103 & 93. Last year he had one sub affected game of 33 but he seemed to drop his output in the team whilst players like Sidey and Beams began to rise to prominence. I can't see him making it past 95 and I have him pinned for 80-90. I think Thomas's maximum average he could achieve this season is a 90-92 and that's just if he surprises me but I think this season we'll see the downfall of a potential premium and unique (never the same ranks as Chapman and only a lucky few had him in 2011).

Zorko I think will outperform both Daisy and Chappy (he could do the opposite though). No way is he going to be a top 6 performer. Last season he outperformed Rockliff week in, week out and he hasn't yet achieved that once this season. Last year he performer like a premium, this year however he is performing like a rookie. If you have him hold on still encase he fizzes up but I dumped him long ago and never looked back. Tbh I can't see him breaking the 80+ barrier but he could prove me wrong and his potential is the only reason I say he will outperform Daisy and Chappy. If he lifts to last years form he should easily and a lift back to his prior form is more realistic than Daisy or Chappy reaching their previous heights. With that being said I don't think he will do it. My prediction sub 80 (realistically) or 90-95+ (potentially)

I would be completely and utterly surprised if any of those three players make the top 6 though even one of them making the top 10 would result in me gaining a lot of respect for them as dream teamers but I can't imagine it happening.

I agree, reckon Zorks is a bit of a long shot unless something massive changes..
