So much for the AFL looking after Queensland - Well maybe we see the go home factor in reverse now when our best youngsters go interstate,

All not completely lost as we can get the best with draft picks (similar to father and son) but a player like Conway would probably have to be taken as our first draft pick. Not ideal.

I think the equivalent of a FS rule is about right tbh, and I wouldnt be too upset if something like that happened here. Giving pure priority is one sided, although it makes sense to entice more kids to play afl.
