standard backline headache.. help me out

do i build a backline that should be competitive all year or quick fix n take the cash

goodes and pittard>>waters and saunders (giibs stays on the pine till fit)
gibbs and goodes>>waters/scotland and vlastuin + 195k
goodes westoff >>vlastuin Stevie J
westoff gibbs >> StevieJ scotland/waters

i will get vlastuin next week if i go with option 1 and hopefully gibbs is a 1 wk injury which i doubted at first. Really wanted to trade out westoff this week but dont think thats possible anymore but thought id wack up the option anyway.

option 3 would leave me with 205k

I'd go with Option 2 personally mate. Hammy's can easily push past 2 weeks

I think option 3 is definitely the way to go here and that's what I've done (only I traded Pittard instead of Goodes). Westhoff needs to go with his massive B/E and Stevie J won't be this cheap for a while. He is a must have before Geelong play Gold Coast and GWS in round 10/11.

Personally, I don't really like the idea of trading Gibbs as I think he'll only be out for the one week. With the extra 205k, you could upgrade Stevenson/Heath to a premo defender next week so that if Gibbs is out for another week, you won't be losing any points due to bringing in another premo defender.

i like 3 aswell only i think im behind my league oppenent already and hes sure to upgrade.. maybe "forfeiting" this wk isnt the worst move becaude option 3 definetly looks the best for the future. if gibbs is back shortly that is.

I've done a similar thing to option 2 where you get a premo + you pocket heaps of cash to get back in another replacement premo defender next week.

If he avoids the vest he'll go up about 100k... definitely a risk but could be better then vlastuin
