We have a 2k thread, might as well have a Madden thread to go along with it. I haven't played in a while but I was pretty damn good at the game at one point.

Have Madden 13 on PS3. Alot of fun, but I am shower.

I have been playing them yearly since the 04 version, before that I was just sporadic. They have gone downhill quickly since 06 but I still need a fix from time to time.

We got kind of screwed over with UT this year on 13. Coins were not being deposited properly after games if you were outside the USA, you had to change the region on your console to USA and it would work then. It forced me to stop playing when I realised they had not fixed the problem and didn't have enough coins to buy contract cards. By the time I found out you had to change regions it was basically to late.

Online you still have your cheesers and nano blitzers but online franchises are fun if you can find a good one. I always found it funny when you had guys trying to exploit glitches and then once you stopped them they would quit.

I lived for Madden 06 and NBA live 04/05/06.

NFL superstar was were it was at. Became a Hall of Fame half-back  8)

06 pissed a lot of people off with the passing light but I got pretty good with that thing. I also liked it because it had my boy Donny Mac on the cover (until the Madden curse hit :( ). I was able to look down field before breaking out of the pocket and busting out a huge gain with McNabb. Screens to Westbrook and the streak to TO were also lethal.

05 was the best I have played with Ray Lewis on the cover. The first game they ever had the hit stick in. It revolutionized the Maddens of that era. After 05/06 they monopolized the market by getting the rights with the players association and took 2k out of it. The quality of the product dropped drastically with no competition. Basic features were lost and brought back in later versions as all new features, the 20 foot high jump linebackers, CB's who ran better routes then the WR's. Like I said before, the F up they had with UT in this years version, no fantasy drafts until they were patched in, there is a whole heap of stuff. Hopefully next gen improves.
