Righto, I am bloody sick of this.

2 well respected FF posters have called Zorko a champion.

I disagree - at this stage.

Help me see the light people.

Cheers.

Noz

He has struggled this year he is a champion in the NEAFL but is yet to really announce himself in the AFL world. Had a few good games last year but has had 2nd year blues and will have to overcome them if Brisbane have any chance of making top 8. He has a huge part of their structure already. I feel if he can overcome the tag and find consistency he will not reach the champion level but he will be a great AFL player.

Haha. Tor01doc, firstly nice thread topic, I have been thinking the same. Secondly I always have a laugh at your comments - keep them going!

Thirdly, no he is not

Any player who can have that kind of impact in their first year has got to be a great player, but I wouldn't call him a champion. Not yet anyway.

Look, i"ll get shot down for this, but i've being saying to Grazz at a few dart games lately, Why does nobody say 2nd year blues for Zork Guys, i realise he was a freak last year, but so far--- well i don't know. Maybe different role/ possie,/pressure , i'm not sure. What i do know, he's out my team. Stuck with him, had faith but, goodbye  Dayne, even though i know you're gonna hurt me sometime soon

It'd be a different story if Voss played his best midfielder in the midfield.

He'd be the best forward in SC if he was playing Rockliff's role.

1st season brilliant, but yeah 1 season isn't 'champion' status..

Been lothe to get into this debate but will bring some balance I think.

At the start let me say I think Zorko has to prove himself to be called a champion and at this stage I will say this is still required,  He may become one yes but now the answer is no.

Last year Zorko was injured early and had no pre-season.  Came into Lions team with a bang and set the tone of the year Zorko great small for Lions. Last game of the year was tagged by Picken and had his second lowest score of the season (excluding the sub).
This led me to post caution with Zorko early on but like many we got sucked in by his NAB cup form. He has been training with the forward group pre-season and has a role change across HF, Zorko has done all the pre-season work this year as well.
Surprised that when Beams went down Voss did not move him back to the midfield and brought in another running forward. Zorko has also been carrying a slight groin injury which may have impacted on him.
Last week we seen the worst of Zorko - hates the Suns with a passion and I think this emotion carried over on to the field.  Was heavily tagged by Wilkinson which got the better of him.

Is he worth keeping Maybe - Seems to be copping 2nd tag but return of Black in 2 weeks may negate this.

So in summary at this stage of the season trade him out as he will continue to bleed cash but may be a handy falling prem to get back in at a later date if form is regained.

We are all proabably trading him out (including more)

Yet I have a feeling he will come out and pull a 130+ v the Kangas and tell us to piss off haha :(
