The vest does not have to be for someone named on the bench. A player can be named on the field and still get the vest.

Never noticed that, it's always been the blokes on the bench from what I had observed in the past. That really complicates things now :L

I noticed that last week that a few players named on the field were the Sub as the final teams come out about an hour before the game starts.

It has always been like this. Colyer named on the field for the Dons, if I was to bet, I would go with him being named the sub.

Called it for the game tonight, Colyer named sub although named on the HFF. The super sub is back for Essendon.
