Fluff Article on Hall being Reinvigorated http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/western-bulldogs-recruit-barry-hall-cant-wait-to-play/story-e6frf9jf-1225828490589

After thinking Barry Hall was the biggest joke going around. I find myself kind of considering him now.

A. His average when the Swans were good was huge. No doubt the doggies will be a top 4 team this season in my opinion. Lets drop off 20 points a game for age even with a slight drop off he would still average near 100.

B. He is less likely to go psycho in the environment of the dogs. Rodney keeping him in line and the fact they have taken a punt on Hall he will want to repay the faith.

C. Scores of 4 and 11 significantly dampen his average of last year. He is unlikely to have such terrible games this year in a better team and perhaps less frustrating team.

Granted HE is a risk, The doggies are willing to punt on him, Are you? There is definitely some evidence he would average 90+ which for $366,000 would equate to a nice price increase and possibly turn into a keeper. Thoughts on Bustling Barry?

theres no chance of him ave near 100 at best maybe 80 if he can stay on the park, a big risk hes let a lot of ppl down time and time again

He will definitely improve his ave and his price if he can stay fit and keep his head straight. Looking forward to watching him play. I have taken the punt on him.

My only concern is he's looked way too slow on the ground in the last couple of years ... defenders seem to beat him to the ball easily. Perhaps one thing in his favour though is the dogs quick ball movement, compared to the Swans slow and steady style which gave defenders plenty of time

Not for me....
Someone like Dangerfield is better value, will play, will score well and will improve...No risk with him IMO.

He might want to repay the Dogs but in the heat of the moment and with players annoying him and it will happen he is likely to snap and cost your side a trade or weeks on the sideline at the very least.

Guess the NAB made this look less ridiculas.
The fact is if your a gambling man, this guy is going to be fed like a king
in a good team, also a team with silky skills. He could really go off, good to see
him not being provoked by the dawks too.

Im going to take a punt. I want a 90-100 avg with 2-3 games missed due to a hammy or suspension this is acceptable for me!

With 96 carryover points and 50% loading the chances of a 3 week "holiday" are high
