have gone danger to GAJ, who next?

Barlow could pocket you a shower load of cash and can deliver the same as Swallow and Mitchell.

Mitchell I think stay away unless he returns to 2011 form

Swallow would make a great POD a lot of risk vs. reward

Jobe if you are looking for quality and cash isn't a priority. He is a stone cold gun and I rate him much higher than Barlow, Swallow and Mitchell. He is surely the best direct pick but you don't get the cash as you would with Barlow and you don't get half the cash as you would with Swallow (plus the potential blowout or potential fall). But you get quality

It's all about where your priorities lie. What is the rest of your midfield so I can give you my opinion?

the danger porps

good points. GAJ, Swan, Pendles, BEAMS (who i am trading) Moloney, wines, viney, omeara, k.mitchell, Kommer

Jukes

Stants will average more than all of them.

Maybe equal with Jobe, but is much cheaper.

I'm sorry man but I think go Watson. It is important to have a stable midfield (4 consistent premiums). Watson is the only one of the four to fit that and is one of the most consistent. Barlow is extremely consistent but will net 10 points average less than Watson each week. Swallow would be a super pick for M5 but is a major risk in M4, I think same with Mitchell given his performance last season.

My midfield is:
Gaj, Swan, Pendles, Cotchin (four consistent premo's) than I take the risk with Fyfe as my M5. I think Watson is the way to go on this one. Unless you want to take the risk than I say go Swallow and if you think the cash is important go Barlow for consistency. Like I stated before it's all about where your priorities lie so take the pros and cons of all three players into account. Unless Mitchell proves he's ready to raise back to '11 status don't pick him up.

Good Luck with the decision man :)

says the guy who mislead everyone into Danger...field! hahahaha and called Ablett a spud hahahahaha.

Still if you are looking for a POD toss up between Stanton and Swallow kid, Swallow is the risk vs. reward pick (I'd pick him out of the two) Stanton is the more proven POD (also a proven pain) but if your into the possibility of scoring anywhere between a 30-200 each week take Stanton into consideration

Ya im sold on that. I just put jobe in and it looks good!!! always so ancy to pick up discount guns to match actual guns, sometimes you have to pick the tried and true

I 100% think you've made the right decision. Had him last year and was a super star rarely (extremely rarely) failed to deliver that 110 each week and along with Boyd is my first midfield upgrade target this season :) Would be in my side but 3k short so I went Cotchin who is roughly the same just not quite there yet compared to Jobe

plus he is almost impossible to tag ;)

I'd rule out Swallow straight away. Just because he scored 141, doesn't mean he'll automatically average 110+. I still see him as a Judd/Priddis/JPK type DTer - Great player, but will always be a solid 100-105 average and won't enter the uber premo status.

Mitchell I think will bump up his average a bit after a quiet (DT season) 2012. Not sure if he can reach his 112 average, but I see him at least 105-107ish. Will be consistent and solid.

Barlow is great value at his price and I think he can get back to 2010 form after 2 years recovery from his broken leg. EXTREMELY consistent and will make a very nice unique. Cash in the bank is handy too.

However, it's hard to go past Jobe. He will be a top 6 mid again and will never let you down. You can bank on 110+ every week with confidence and he can always belt out a few 130+ against the stronger sides as he lifts for the Bombers. The guy is a jet.

1. Watson
2. Barlow
3. Mitchell
4. Swallow

I had Sammy in 2011 and absolutely loved him. Picked him up quite early in the season and he was just awesome. Rode his 112 average for the rest of the year. 8)

I've never been a fan of Swallow for DT myself. I don't know why, but I don't think destined to average 110+. I also hate inconsistency (especially after having Rocky for the whole 2012), and Swallow can pump out a few 60-80s here and there. Like him as a player though.

Ricochet

Agree with the boys here... You need to go Watson. He's a proven player and will easily average 5-10 more than the other 3

Yeah that's more than fair. He probably will average 106-108 at most but he could also fall back into a 90 average. Like I always say there's nothing worse than having a premium mid that averages 90
