G'day experts, wondering what to do his week. Current lineup is:

Rucks- Cox, Jacobs, (Blicavs, Daw)

Fwds- Rockliff, Dusty, Bruest, JJK, Dwyer, Neade (Rowe, Macaffer)
$183,300 in kitty.

It doesn't look like Bruest is going to have the breakout year I was hoping for. Not scoring well even when he's involved in the game. (Only 75 last week, even with three goals to his name). I have been saving the cash for Luey, but Buddy looks pretty good already. If I Get Buddy I can leave Cox in the rucks and set and forget, then upgrade fwds when cows ripen. Obviously if Luey comes in Cox goes fwd again.
Can get Luey and trade Bruest to Hoff, but its a bit sideways and will the Hoff keep it up? Bit risky?

Sowaddayareckon? As always cheers for replies, most appreciated! ;)

Leuy > Blicavs is a sort of waste this week, as theyre both probably going to go up the same amount of cash, so its not necessary. Plus it gives you another week to assess if Leuy is the real deal or not  ;)

Buddy is a lock for all teams by the end of the year. I've had him from the start, you might as well get on now.

Actually I have a hard look at this and Leuy will almost definatly go up more than Blicavs and for most Leuy will be on ground and allow for more points scored as it will be a leuy vs a nead or Dwyer.

Yes leuy could fail but the higher risk is to be behind 10-20K and 30-40 points imo.

As for the Buddy trade is BE is just over 90 so its tough to guess what will happen there. imo leuy before buddy!

Oops, i was looking at supercoach gold, and they have leuenberger's predicted score at 66 this week, so yeah, he probably will go up significantly more than blicavs. Still, its only going to be a matter of 15k, not HUGE in the big scheme of things! Almost still worth waiting a week.

Cox is better as a forward. Definitely move him to Breust's spot and get Leue 'on the bubble'.

Danstar

Leuy after 2 games back from a long stint of injury average 97 will only get better as the season goes on (unless he gets injured again). And Brisbane have been quite poor, if they start winning his scores will also be better

Thanks for the replies guys. Surprisingly, the Hoff/Luey combo is winning the poll! But can the Hoff keep it up?

Unfortunately I'm not a mind reader, so whoever voted 'other' please explain what your other option is? Or are you just fuggin with me? ::) ;)

It costs you 5k to wait a week on Leuey and you make 1.6k if you wait on Buddy. Not a lot of pain cash wise whichever way you go. IMO go for Buddy and the points. Buddy is a keeper but Leuey may not be. Cheers and all the best. ;D

Bump! Doesn't seem to be a trend either way, so I'll put it out there again! :)

Bones Bombers

Get Luey while he's cheap, may well be a keeper at an amazing price.
I also voted to get Hoff but who knows if he can keep it up. I think he will for a while at least.

Getting Luey in is the first thing you should do.

Not so sure about the Hoff yet, he has a history of doing well for a few games then goes missing for a month, and the fact he has been against any quality opponents really doesn't inspire confidence that he will continue this form.

After saying all that, he will continue to rise in price for at least another 2 weeks, so you probably should get him in, then if he does drop back to his old form you can trade him out as almost a straight swap for a premium and if he doesn't, you've just grabbed a cheap gun.

Cheers mate, not a bad way to look at it.

Just tried to do the double trade and must have screwed up my calculations. 12 grand short of the Westoff trade :o what a douche! Oh we'll, looks like just  Luey in this week.
