What's the common thought? I'm still in conservative 2012 mode! Is it a waste not to use them and if so what kind of players are we looking at dropping / bringing in each week?

I'm happy with my team, rookies all played well, I kept Terlich, scrapped Crouch after he wasn't named in RD1 both named this week, I'm sticking with guys like Robbo and Whitfield, isn't it just common sense to only bring guys in on the bubble, that way we get a few scores under our belt and an idea on JS and roll before jumping in?

Use as many as you think is right its your team some weeks may be 0 others just 1 and others youll want to use the 2 of em, im using both this week going longer and russell to suban and leuenberger :)

This year is going to be Sideways Season. Everyone's gonna be jumping off and on bandwagons all the time, prime example this week is Danger to Swallow (which I'm probably gonna do). That said, you still have to think about top 6/8/2 in each position, but you can afford to be more fickle with your expectations of players because you can boot in a dud patch, then bring them back when performing.

I think if the trade doesn't hurt your team and it's a genuine sideways premium for premium trade, then why not? We all know some premiums struggle against some sides and tear it up agàinst others. It may hurt some weeks but others it will be an inspired move. This week I've decided to sideways trade Cotchin to Selwood. Even though history is limited for both players Cotchin generally struggles against St Kilda and Selwood has cracked the ton against north the last 4 years. I also don't think this trade will hurt across the year.
