Here is the official Lions report on the reserver match against Morningside in the NEAFL.

Jordan Lisle with his 6 Goals may also push for selection in place of Cornelius. Harwood and Clarke may also be putting pressure on defenders after the insipid effort against dogs but not expecting many changes just the same.
Here is the extract on Berger from the match.  Just hoping it was a reality check and players will respond against Crows on Sunday,

For those that hung on to Berger here is the section referring to him and I suspect if he does not play this week will be in the mix next week.

"The other real positive for the Lions was the form of ruckman Matthew Leuenberger, who played the majority of the match and showed no signs of discomfort.

“You could tell he’s a senior AFL player â€" he just dominated the centre square and got his hands on it a lot,” Harding said.

“He also snuck forward and kicked a couple of goals.”

“Importantly, he has pulled up really well so will come into serious consideration at this week’s Match Committee."

Also great to see we have already exceeded the 20,000 membership figure for this year,  So hope the fans get a good look this year.

Will keep longer this week and see how Berger goes before getting him.
