Robbie Gray is ready to play AFL according to Ken Hinkley.
He dominated in the SANFL on the weekend with 25 possessions and 3 goals.

Averaged 90 in 2011 and only $301,000

Who's considering?

Ricochet

Seriously considering if he is ready. Only thing that would worry me is a chance of being subbed given he's underdone

He WON'T  be playing round 1 . he played for sanfl magpie reserves on saturday, had 20 odd possessions and

kicked 3 goals. very encouraging performance, but developement manager Daniel Healy said they will not put

any limits or time frame on his return

If he was ready he would be a great swap for Luey if Lueys not selected, swinging Cox into the ruck. On second thoughts, Cox is locked into my  Fwd line this round :P

When I read this in the paper I was considering, but

A monty for a vest :-\

:o didn't think Gray would play round one, but if he does he will probably have a red or green vest

johnnytheboy1

if you are willing to place lecras on your bench for round 2 .Robbie Gray maybe that good replacement.

"It (his return) will be very, very soon. Will it be possible for round one? That's something we will consider but we will be a little bit measured in our approach.''

$301,000 is a nice price for a player of his talent, but don't have the room for him. But if I was thinking of taking him I would definitely let him come back and play two games, then assess him just prior to his first price fluctuation.   :-\
