 Even though the Cats won, the 2 clubs delivered another great game. Although at one stage, i thought the Hawks had broken the recent drought. I think you guys have got the mental edge over them for some reason, anyone know why

I went to the game today as a neutral (although I was favouring Geelong) and it was a cracker for round 1. Rioli and Buddy looked very dangerous early but faded badly and the Harry Taylor show began. Great turnaround by Geelong and in the end they should have won by more. Was fast, furious and terribly umpired but very enjoyable.

The Kennett curse continues.
