I was just looking at the current leader Mighty B's on 2242 points. Well done by the way.

The apparent mistakes I made or are they?

Waters - Heppel diff 37 pts. Heppel's been picked by 26% will improve
Mitchell - Cotchin diff 27 pts Cotchin been picked by 30% will improve
Watson - danger diff 62 pts Danger's been picked by 25% (I should have gone watson on this one)
Chappy - Zorko diff 51 pts Zorko been picked by 30% well the zorks will fire
Goldy - z smith diff 54 pts (this one went pear shaped)
Mundy - Embley diff 76 pts (still think Embley can av 90+ just needs to dodge the vest)
Wines - Toumpas diff 62 pts (I have Wines but he was on the bench)

Well I ended up 350 pts or so behind and I think this is a sorry tale for a lot of us but the point I am making is that things can turn around quite quickly especially if you use the trades wisely.

Very true fidou.

Whats not to say all of those you listed are reversed next week.

It's only round 1, like real footy it means very little in the scheme of things.

tbagrocks

Only worried about Smith tbh, might become Berger soon enough, but that was the plan anyway, Zorko needs to improve

Waters < Heppell
Mitchell < Cotchin
Watson = Danger
Chappy < Zorko
Goldy > Smith
Mundy = Embley
Wines > Toumpas (for selection, anyway)

Guess it was just a case of right place right time; the round winner's players performed very well luckily all in the same round, despite being noticeably poorer long term picks, i.e. not just performing r1 but over the whole season.

Ricochet

Waters - Heppel diff $33,100
Mitchell - Cotchin diff -$46,700
Watson - danger diff $54,400
Chappy - Zorko diff $14,800
Goldy - z smith diff $106,600
Mundy - Embley diff $187,500
Wines - Toumpas diff -$13,500

He also spent $336,200 more in these areas, so that should account for some of the points loss.

Are you basing that on averages or how good of a pick they are? because Waters kills Heppell, Cotchin beats Mitchell, Watson kills Danger, Chappy = Zorko, Goldy beats Zmith, Mundy kills Embley and Wines beats Toumpas.

Waters < Heppell
Mitchell < Cotchin

Dangerfield will improve as well man, he'll still go 100+, But if I had to choose between Dangerfield and Watson I would go Watson 10/10 times.. Why the flower did you even pick Danger? I have only considered him as a M8 at the most :)

Out of those players I had Heppell  :-\, Cotchin (backed up my faith in him) :D, Zorko (should lift) :-\, Wines ;D (you pretty much know why). Only player I'm considering to trade is Heppell to Birchall but I've gotta see how next week and maybe even the round after goes because even two games is a short sighted decision ;)

Ziplock

Heppell, Duffield, Hibberd
Whitfield, Kane Mitchell (over viney and jones :'( )
Bicavs
Martin, Karnezis, Bolton, Robinson

ZI had a really bad week :P

bolton's already been cut. I'm tempted on hibberd/duffield as well (I didnt even want duffield, flowering rookie error on the partial lockout by me :'( )

It would equate to about 70pts that cash but there was a bit of bench diffs etc so I would halve the cash and I still have 150k to splash out. I kept mainly for R2 if Z Smith does not come to the party and Luey doesn't either.

This still is only really relevant to round 1 though ;D you shouldn't worry that much
