I have heard suggestions that he may be getting moved into the mids. Going into his third year he may be able to push 80 as a full time mid. Anyone see him play this preseason. If so has he been playing as a mid or still as a forward flank?

he is being groomed to be boomers replacment, soo pretty much i expect him to take his positon for the frist 6 rounds (with boomer suspeneded)

so playing of the half flank and drifiting into the midfield occasionally.

I've got my eye on some of these North players who have been around for 3-5 years without ever quite establishing themselves. Another one that I've been wondering about is Cam Richardson. DEF/FOR this year and priced at $108k... is he any chance of getting games? I see he didn't play in North's last NAB Cup game, any idea why?

simple, great vfl player, cant cut the afl.

Sierakowski would be a better pickup if he was named round 1, probably unlikely on his peformance last week.

heaps of good cheap backs though.

What do people think about Harper?? If he avgs 80 in the first 6 weeks, he'll make nice cash before you upgrade him to a premo when Boomer comes back. With the lack of FWD rooks could Harper and Karnezis at F5/6 be worth it??

just saw this thread then - and this question has been on my mind as well... unfortunately i know NOTHING about the kangaroos - will harper just be a sub again this year? (kid can definitely play)

Hopefully for my Asian XVs sake but I think Harpers grown out of the vest and can hopefully cement his place. He has a prime opportunity to do that while Boomers out.

how do you think he'll go, relish the role, potential 80+?

Yeh this. I can't see him being vested for at least the first 6 weeks while Boomer is out, then we won't really need him for too much longer past that anyways.

Can honestly see him going 75-80 early on, which is enough to warrant picking him up

Don't think so. Thing is Harper was never an elite ball winner, so you'll wanna hope he tackles and kicks two goals a game. Petterd, I just can't see him getting enough time to be relevant this year. Karnie though is a good thing.
