Very unique midfield. You're obviously backing Geelong for a big year. Just a little tip- you may as well put chapman in for rd 1 over stevie j and then swap them for rd 2. Chapmans only $1k more expensive.

I think there are a few risky choices here which could pay off or could burn you: namely Varcoe as M6, Bartel, Kennedy and Martin.

I definitely think you'd be better going with one of the many rookie prospects in midfield over Varcoe. While he's a real talent, he's more of an impact player for mine, and won't post big scores. I've always felt he lights it up for a couple of 5 minute periods over a game and as such wont rack up possessions consistently.

Bartel should spend less time in the middle this season- I think there's better value than him in there.

Kennedy is one that I'd be looking to upgrade during the season. He should definitely increase in value and make some cash but his output is a bit inconsistent for my liking.

Martin. Do you believe the hype? I don't. Burned me too many times.

This is different to many of the stock standard teams i have seen this year. Your hopefully going to be able to do a few dual position subs with: Bartel and varcoe also playing up forward and stevie J and rockie also playing as mids. This could pay off if some of your rooks don't make the final cut.

Personally not the biggest fan of roughead and the hawks have a hard start to the season, could come down in price if he scores a few 85- games. Thats the reason i'm not going with buddy. You could pick up a mid-priced and possibly even upgrade them to Buddy or Stevie J after 4 or so rounds, if your willing to sacrafice a few points early in the season.
