Who's nervously sitting with this bloke in their team wondering if he's the right option? What are everyone's thoughts? He did go BANG in round 1 last year against North Melbourne, but didn't play Adelaide at all in 2012. In 2011 vs Adelaide at AAMI he scored 106. 103 pts per 100 mins in the pre-season got him into my side, are there more factors to consider? Should I save some coin and take a punt on Kieran Jack instead?

Windigo

Cannot bring myself to select him TBH.  :P

I'd keep him over Jack though!  :)

Jukes

100% locked in, you'll regret it if you don't include him.

Ricochet

I have him also, I don't think he will go that well tonight but he will smash it this year

Currently considering Barlow instead of Stanton. Barlow coming up against a weakened WCE midfield and a pre-season of 93 pts per 100 mins... Has he flown under everyone's DT radar, or not top 10 mid material?

Me and Rico had a lengthy discussion about the top 10 mids. IMO it'll be difficult.  :-\

Barlow is a bit of a tough one to judge after the broken leg. 109 avg in his debut season would usually have us expecting him to average 120+ this year! But the broken leg may have capped his ceiling at 110-115... He was consistent last year after starting the first 2 games as sub.

But yeah Stanton seems like he's worth the risk, such a high ceiling and started the year so well last year and comes into this one with good NAB Cup form. It will make tonight captivating viewing when he'll also be my VC :P
