B: Goddard, Gibbs, Heppell, Pittard, Goodes, Stevenson (Terlich, Heath)
M: Ablett, Pendlebury, Watson, JPKennedy, Dangerfield, O'Meara, Wines, KMitchell (Crouch, MJones)
R: Ryder, Blicavs (Currie, Rowe)
F: Franklin, Cox, Zorko, Rockliff, Karnezis, Petterd (Macaffer, Neade)

$3,500 remaining

now here are the issues...

My main issue here is will Ricky Petterd be named Round 1, because if he isnt I dont have the money to upgrade him to Varcoe, who i think is the next best mid pricer at his price. I'm not too worried about the other rookie and premium prospects atm but I think its risky going into the rolling lockouts without a bit of cash in hand in case this happens.

does anyone have any idea where i could get the approx. $30k to give me a little bit of wiggle room here?

my first thought was ryder > jacobs but that still doesnt give me enough money..

Consider going 4 premo mids & 1 mid price mid like moloney or mundy but i reckon you should focus on your rucks because it's a big rick having a rookie R2 because none of them are going to play much, could swap with cox through rowe but then that leaves your forward line a little weak.
Burger or smith could be an option for R2.

im pretty happy with macaffer coming onto the ground for cox if need be as i believe macaffer is in pies best 22 and should play every week, so no issues there. it was purely just the money factor!
also the 5 super premos are for hopefully a quick start on the competition, want to break into the top 1000

Well maybe try Heppell to Newman or yarran to free up the wiggle room cash that your after but i wouldn't be to concerned if your happy with your team.

May I humbly suggest JPK to Fyfe.

It is likely that Fyfe will rise by more than JPK.

It is likely that JPK is more likely to fall given his high BE than Fyfe.

It is likely that Fyfe could end up a keeper and is cheap if he stays fit.

It is likely you will say you don't trust his shoulders.

Good luck.

PS There's always Ledger.  ;)

Or Watson to Cotchin.

i upgraded cotchin to watson as my last little change as i think Watson has the ability to score at least 10+ points on cotchin per game. i also think cotchin could be a nice little upgrade in round 12 after his bye and help out my bye structure a fair bit

i just feel like the four big mids that i have, plus a little risk with danger, is all i can afford. i dont know if its cotchins preseason form thats giving me the irks but something is telling me i would be better off with leaving him. if anything i would probably go danger > cotchin as i can see danger being tagged a lot more tightly, but danger could be the next ablett if things go his way... its a tough decision but someone has to be dropped...

do you think the ryder > jacobs pick is enough?
ryder was probably the premium i had least confidence in as i despise kpps and jacobs should prove to be a measure of consistency this year, as he always does!

Jacobs seems really good value.

I have have had him all preseason but am leaning towards Maric now.
