Been a long time reader and just after some thoughts please

Def - Goddard, Gibbs, hartlett, goodes, pittard, terlich (Stevenson, frost)
Mids - gaj, pendlebury, danger, fyfe, hannebery, Lucas, wines, o'meara (Mitchell, viney)
Rucks - cox, smith (currie, moller aka not so floating donut but ill change him)
For - franklin, bartel, rockliff, Martin, karnezis, macaffer (Rowe, neade)

Cash left 218,000

Now I want to use that money, and I've got a couple options...

Option 1 - downgrade Kane Mitchell to Dane rampe and then go neade to gus monfries (this depends on whether macaffer is named round 1 really)

Option 2 - downgrade Mitchell again, go fyfe up to deledio (pod and doesn't have fyfes shoulder), and one of the rook backs to tiny Armstrong

Option 3 - downgrade fyfe to rookie mid and then get watts in back or forward or heppell or anyone of that price

Option 4 - straight upgrade z smith to anyone below sandilands

Option 5 - stand pat and bank the cash

Good side Dooga, reckon you'll do well with it. Of the options you gave, I like the Monfries in to the forward line the best. Would like it even more if it was B Crouch going in as the rookie. Best of luck mate. ;)

Even though Zac Smith might do well. Still a young ruckman and at his price and the money you have spare, I would go with someone more reliable

Thanks boys, I like monfries new role with port and yeah that was actually another option I forgot to put down...rucks are just such a headache I can't honestly pick one and be confident with him and I feel z smith could really do well, doesn't have much competition for ruck time really and with primus showing him the ropes could soar but key word there is could....

Def - excellent - if Frost doesn't get selected consider Luke Brown

Mids - I wonder if you're being a bit cheap by selecting both Fyfe and Hannebery - will either outscore the guys in this list - Swan, Beams, Watson, JPK, Cotchin, Selwood, Lids and a few more I can't think of?
If you don't think so, then you are wasting trades or selling your final team short.
Rucks - Cox is a forward this year. For sure. Leue if selected. Smith OK.

Fwd - Cox in for Martin. Consider Zorko - he looks on fire. Rowe to R4.

A few mid pricers to consider - Moloney, Lucas, Simpkin if selected, B Hill, J Russell, Yarran, Embley, JJK, Varcoe, Bailey if you've got balls, some like K Harper, Petterd?

All fair calls...instead of trying to get Monfries in the forward or Armstrong in back with fyfe, reckon I should just upgrade fyfe to a super premium?

My new strategy involves only getting premiums you want in your final best team - ie those top 6/8/2/6 in their lines.

Fyfe top 8?? Maybe but his shoulder might disagree.

Any player other than top ranked is purely a cash cow IMO.

Predicting them can be fun but notoriously difficult.

30 trades will only be enough if you pretend you've got 20.

We had a bin that was only just a tiny bit too small, so some weeks we had to snaeak some rubbish under the cloak of darkness into our old neighbour's bin.  :-[

Then we got a big motherflowering bin, and you know what? We still fill it!
