I was looking at his scores from last year, and if you take his scores from round 6 (when he started getting midfield time) and exclude his score of 3 (from when he was injuired early in the game I believe) he averaged 114!

That includes scores of 169, 156, 146, 148, 136 and 140!

Is there a reason he can't do it all again this year?

(Obviously going for league only)

Going for league only i dont see any problem with it mate, certainly not mad as i think he'll go very well again this year.

Degsman

I am thinking so too  :)

Do you think he can be in the top forwards?

Free Kick

He's a GUN!!

If only going for league get him in as long as you have round one cover 8)

He's a the top 10 candidate.

Hippo

yeah i think he can be in the top6 for sure

im going for overall and will have him by rd4 or 5.

Idea is to start with Nick R and take his first 3-4 weeks scores and hopefully a price rise then trade to SJ before his price changes too. This could be delayed for a week too, depending on avg's at the time.

burns a trade but i can afford to slay one for more pts and the player that i want for the yr. Dont want Rooy for the yr however i do want his scores for the first 3 rds

if you can start Macaffer for him then i would have him round 1. I dont have that luxury on my bench so im passing on him until later in the season

Footyrulz

if ure going for a league win, then hes a lock in my opinion. its just that 40-50 point loss in round that means u might shy away.

My thoughts exactly, he is underpriced and I think he'll make up for missing round 1 within a few rounds.

If there were some bloody decent fwd rookies around I would get him for sure but its hard enough finding a rookie to even get a game in his spot let alone score a reasonable score so that it doesnt hurt you to much

No faith in Macaffer?

Start StevieJ and use the VC loophole ;)

But who takes F6 in round one?

I've finally decided to go with Stevie J as F4 instead of the likes of Martin, Robinson and Jack Reiwoldt. He is just so much better than those guys & he definitely becomes part of theVC loophole in round 1.

Degsman

The VC loophole is another bonus of starting him :)

It will depend on if neade or lee or kerridge get named round one, and if one of them does I'll be all over him!  ;D

Yeah he's at f6 but I would need to field 2 rookies if I picked Steve j. Not confident lee or neade can score very well
