What does everyone think?

He was the most subbed player in 2012. If he avoids the vest this season i think he could be in for a big year

smashbox

this was something i was also very interested in. Ive heard rumours from North that hes been performing very well this preseason

Alot of young players at North are apparently going to 'break-out' this year. Bastinac, Cunnington, Ziebell, Atley and Wright are just some of the other names being thrown around. They won't all do it and trying to pick the right one is too much of a gamble for mine.

With Harvey out for the first six, I can see him paying Harvey's old role. I reckon he'll kind of break out and average 80 SuperCoach points this year

Gibson with a full preseason and a half a year of experience, his numbers will climb.

The Bomber

Decent POD. Might be worth considering in place of either JJK, LeCras, Karnezis, Varcoe or Byrnes. Most teams have alteast one of those...

Marstar

Any way to find out which games were sub effected? This would be a great POD.

cdonny

Had him in my team all pre-season, was my smokie. Then started to hear his name dropped more and more...

Here is a link to his 2012 rundown:
http://www.fanfooty.com.au/players/year.php?firstname=Kieran&surname=Harper&year=2012
played every game, with sub affected scores of: 0, 12, 16, 19, 22, and a few highs of 99, and mid 80's. Though usually hovers around the 55 mark... which isn't so good.

Whenever he gets the ball, something good happens for North, can set up lots of good play, and still managed to kick 25 goals.
With Boomer out for 6, and his pre-season training with the mids (coming 2nd in most of the time trials), his tank is increased, has put on some size, and playing more mid time... all signs leads to a good fantasy year.

I'm a north man through and through aswell...

but, end of the day, Petterd just got elevated, playing a loose/rebounding defender role, and is 30K cheaper.

Harper will definitely improve.

If North Melbourne did not have such dodgy fixtures, he would probably be straight in my team.  What you don't want is a mid-pricer starting the season slow.
