Hey mate too many premos in team try downgrading Swan and getting more unique players or downgrading franklin in forward to spend elsewhere as hawks have tough draw for couple rounds. Rate team wih uniqueness of Newman in backline as he playing different role and will excel this year and Hartlett strong backline. I like 8/10. Can you rate my team please. http://www.fanfooty.com.au/forum/index.php/topic,71588.0.html

i like your team a lot.
if newman gets back to scoring 95+ you'll have 5 solid backline scorers.
seeing your backline i was worried that you would sacrifice your mid/fwd line. but no. 4 super premo's (120+) nice.
not sold on goldy yet.
franklin does have a tough start but he is dangerous not to have. another 4 premo's in the fwd line (100+).

very nice team. 8.5/10

rate my team.

heppell unproven
hartlett unproven
Newman useless
byrnes is ok but dont expect more than 80 per game from him... better off getting a rookie.

not a bad team 8 out of 10

I'll be happy with 95+ averages from defender premos this year. Heppell and hartlett averaged around 80 last year and with continued improvement, injury free and plenty of midfield time for both I can easily see them reaching that mark. Newy can return to his best if given the new role as indicated. Will be closely monitored in his last two nab games.

I'll also gladly trade Byrnes to a rookie should one present himself in the next 3 weeks of nab. I have seen minimal footy so far but what I've seen I haven't come across a rookie that will play week in week out and give me 60-80 points as byrna will do.

Cheers for the rate

Ringo

Solid Team here:

Jury still out on rookies until at least the next 2 rounds of the NAB cup.

Def: Solid line. Newmann and Hartlett could be great POD's if the can have injury free seasons and get back to 2011 form. Also watch NAB cup to see if Goddard affects Heppell output.  Started to see some signs in the 2nd game v Pies where Heppell seemed to drift out of game when Goddard stepped up.
Mids: 4 solid prems,  Risk to consider with 4 rookies having to play each week Personally would like to see a mid pricer in there like Ball, Embley, Moloney, Miles if you can afford the addition $200/250k required
Rucks: Solid - Watch Goldys form in the next couple of NAB Cups to see if Friday was just a slight slip.
Fwds: Solid selections here. Watch Daniher for being named as well,

Rate Team 8.5/10

Like everyone else, edition version 2134. Hanging out for the season to start so I can leave my goddam team alone.

Here's what I've settled with for today

Back: Goddard Gibbs hartlett Russell brown Docherty (pittard terlich)
Mids: ablett swan pendles cotch j selwood crouch viney k Mitchell ( viney omeara)
Ruck: goldy luey (Rowe currie)
Forwards: franklin cox tex walker rocky mcaffer kerridge (lamb paparone)

Cash left : $500

Still not sold on rucks, potentially weak as both pose risks, have picked them on potential output.
Russell down back purely cos he freed up cash allowing me to upgrade ball from m5 to a super premo. If he looks to cement his spot with good nab form ill feel better bout keeping him
Kerridge because he is picked in this weeks nab side which Adelaide have stated as the best indication to how they will line up round 1. Massive vest candidate though

If Luke ball looks solid in his 2 nab games and proves he can punch out consistent tons  I might look to drop him back in at m5 which allows me to strengthen up other lines.

Round 1 can't come quick enough

Solid team mate. Not much changes needed there. Looks good!

Nice team now would lock it away to revise in a couple of weeks when assessing NAB cup form and rookies named for Round 1. Nice structure,

Bigjim

As happy as I was with my previous team I just couldn't resist the urge to have one more play.

Back: Goddard Gibbs hartlett Vlastuin Stevenson Terlich (brown Docherty)
Mids: ablett swan pendles danger Lucas crouch wines k Mitchell (goodes  omeara)
Ruck: roughead blicavs (Rowe currie)
Forwards: franklin cox tex Zorko rocky karnezis ( mcaffer Meade)

Cash left : $18,800

Few concerns going into the year being :
- 3 starting rookies in back line, although two are senior bodies having played against men for the past 4-5 years
- only 4 premos in the mids as opposed to the more common selection of 5
- gone with blicavs starting on the field over mcaffer. Will be stalking the Geelong injury lists to see just how long blicavs has in the side to prove his worth before he is locked in my team

Other consideration is to take out one of rocky or Zorko, replace with Byrnes, smedts ( big year IMO) or a rookie and make lucas into fife.

Hmmm decisions decisions. Hurry up lock out.

Interested in your thoughts.
