Hi guys couple of question i could use some much needed advice,  (1) currently have coxy at R1 with luey not ready is it wise to have currie starting R2 i know its risky but could it pay off  :-\  (2) Most people are starting a 3/4 premo backline is it madness to have 2 premo god, gibbs, armstrong ,vlast, pittard, goodes,,,,, really appreciate comments and thoughts ,thnxs tB   :)

Can't start currie at ruck 2, a premium ruck will average you 90-105 per game.

a rook? 40-70 HUGE loss in points, where would you spend the money to get you that many points?

also if goldy is named round 1 which he should be currie is not even a solid bench pick as they don't need 2 the same. petrie can pinch hit and if anything daw a more likely backup to goldy playing fwd.

2 premium defenders isnt a disaster but it leaves you vulnerable if defender rooks you have get dropped, needing to start 4 might be a little much, starting 3 with an armstrong, russell, atley, yarran would be ok tho. not a great loss of points over having a premium at D3 either if you get the right mid pricer.

me i'm starting 3 premium defenders at this stage, can't say 2 and a mid pricer hasnt tempted me tho.

1) i think the only way you can start a Rookie at R2 is if you have a fwd/ruck on your fwd line bench (Rowe) and another on your ruck bench (Setanta). That way you basically have 4 rookies you could swing through that R2 spot depending on who is playing. You will drop quite a few points through that R2 spot though.

2) I'm not that confident on Armstrong but Sydney boys on here will have better advice. With so many rookies in one line you might find that come rounds 3-4+ some may get dropped and you will be short on replacements down there. Like Clay Smith last year.

Great advice Cw/Rico was toying with the idea to save money to strengthen Fwds /mids not thinking about a massive point loss, and js, think i defently stick to prem rucks and 3/4 prem backline appreciate your advice guys cheers
