Haven't posted my team in a while!
DEF: Goddard, Gibbs, Duffman, Goodes, Docherty, Stevenson (Pittard, Cameron)
MID: Ablett, Swan, Pendles, JPK, Mundy, K Mitchell, O meara, Crouch (Vlastuin, Viney)
RUC: Jacobs, Leunburger (Rowe, Currie)
FOR: Buddy, Cox, Rocky, Broughton, Karnezis, Macaffer (Kerridge, Neade)
SALARY CAP: $148,200

I have a few POD players in my team, Duffield, Mundy, JPK (most people are going dangerfield over him)

Please comment your opinions and rate my team and ill do my best to give all of yours a rate  :)

I like this team a lot. $148 k is too much sitting there not scoring you points though. I would consider Vlastuin-->Wines i think he will score much more and get vested less for not much more $$. The rest i would use in the forward line. Broughton and Karnezis both come with inherent risks so perhaps upgrade one to a consistent performer since you have the cash. If your sold on those 2 as POD's perhaps upgrade a fwd rookie to Byrnes for good JS.

Agree that $148k is probably a bit much to have in reserve.  Just try and see what an extra $199k gets you in some lines.

Just ensure rookies are playing prior to finalising as I think there may be 2 or 3 doubtful ones for Round 1,

Vlastin is probably a tad expensive as well so downgrade to a lesser priced mid.

Suggestion Move Broughton back to defence for a rookie possibly Cameron, And upgrade Kerride or Nead to Varcoe, Byrnes, Knights or Pettard or similar price.  Your Team though.

Def: Great Defence with only Docherty being the concern here as he is likely to get the Green vest if he plays
Mids: There is no point having Vlastuin on your forward bench because he won't be there when the byes come around to take advantage of his DPP. better of with either Lonergan or Wines
Fwds: Then you could upgrade Kerridge to Varcoe. Otherwise you have a decent fwd line.

Overall: Competitive team give it a 7.5/10

the reason i have vlastuin is his DPP between mid and def! With gibbs, goddard and goodes all playing defence with a mid DPP in gives me extra coverage just in case, the only other one can get is kurt aylett off the top of my head.

Jman - Do not think the DPP is as relevant this year with change in rules - extra trades and Best 18 on field scoring the points. DPP will not help with Round 13 bye as you have 2 defenders and e mid prems with Round 13 bye.
