Looks pretty good. You got too much money tied up in your ruck for my liking but you can afford it so why not.
Your forwards are weak though try changing Bartel to Martin or walker, and depending on how much you have left over, upgrade Varcoe

Got 9k left over. Gone pretty all out in the mids and rucks. Not at all confident on varcoe. The Martin trade could work

250 last season. You don't need a rating from the likes of me!  ::)

But you'll get some comments for free.

Round 13 premiums / keepers - Goddard, Gibbs, GAJ, Swan, Pendles, Watson, Murphy, Ryder and by then you'll probably realise you should have started with Dangerfield and Walker and Shaw and God knows who else. This over-representation so early leaves you in a bit of a pickle come round 13. Even with no other 13ers traded in, unless you sideways for that dreaded round, you'll only have 16 players (looking at Brown, O'Meara, Crouch Macaffer, Rowe etc as well) to field and quite a few of yours may not even play.

Def - nice but Docherty JS? Watch selection time.

Mids - too many 13ers. This line will look better after round 13.

Rucks - Cox better as a fwd. A lot of $$$ here. Cox as a forward helps out since forwards are a real problem this year.

Fwds - a bit thin here IMO. See rucks comment. If Macaffer doesn't get regular games and Varcoe and Karnezis don't fire, you're in a heap of bother. One extra could make a big difference.

Good luck.

Good looking team. My only question is can you gamble on starting all three of Karnezis, Varcoe and Macaffer on the ground in the forward line? I would think not. If anything, I reckon only 1 of them should start on the ground. Varcoe and Macaffer haven't shown enough for me in the preseason to suggest they will be better than backups. Perhaps downgrade McEvoy to a midpricer or rookie and upgrade Varcoe to a premium.

have 23 of the same players i like ya team !

maybe not a 100 point player in your forward line you could rely on....a line of duds really...

As No.1 Doctor said " helluva lot of rd.13 bye prems "  and your forward line is very weak.
Love the back line with the 3 prems, and a big fan of the set and forget style ruck. That
only leaves the midfield to find cash for another forward. Personally I would downgrade one
of Swan or Pendles to Mundy, then upgrade Varcoe to DeBoer. And as you planned, when
either Currie or Blicavs are playing, you can swap Rowe and Cox thus giving you yet another
forward. But the most probable outcome is that you leave the mids and Just swap Cox with
Rowe when short up forward. Basically a pretty good starting team, well thought out and just
1 short up forward. Best of luck mate.   ;)

Thankyou very much for the feedback.

Yeh my plan is to swap Cox up forward when I am short(which will probably be round one as I got johnson in now)

Made some slight alterations by getting kennedy in for varcoe(as I don't trust him) and swapping mcevoy to jacobs and bartel to SJ to make that happen.

Not too worried about the bye round. Alot changes usually between now and then. I didn't worry about it too much last year and just got players that I think will just give me the best scores and it seemed to work well..
