Lee although he didnt score well in the last NAB game he did look ok, i think he will improve with the more expeience he gets at AFL level. Only need someone to play first 5 or 6 rounds untill Staker plays two games. This is where i can see Neade bein a good pick up cause i can see him playing early up will fade away quickly due to his size. But the problem with picking him is that he will probably be a sub. I think Lee is oue best bet. Mature age and should get game game, couple of contested marks and a goal or 2 each week and he should score 50ish and 50 is about as good as we can hope for for a f8 this year unfortunately.

I just remember Beau getting subbed a lot that's all with a particular game against melbourne coming to mind. That game he kicked a goal after saints had handed in trade request stuff and they weren't able to reverse it haha

There's sweet FA fwd rookies. Most are in mids as usual, followed by backs. Neade is the only one besides Macaffer who is even likely to get early games.

U have to adapt ur team structure to suit this problem.

Yes indeed my forwards are Cox, Walker, Zorko, Lewis, Varcoe, Karnezis, Macaffer, Neade

surely GWS has someone hiding out somewhere
Kristian Jaksch comes to mind as a forward rookie who could play but thats about it, but not sure why he didn't play in nab cup..?

Macaffer is the only sure thing. I think that if you need another rookie in your fwd line your best bet is to pick the first rookie who plays round 1 and is not wearing the green vest. For example, the Saints play before Port so if Tom Lee is not the sub then you would be wise to pick him as even if Neade is named he may end up being the sub for Port.

This is one of the toughest positions to sort out.  I guess we wait till Thursday night for the 1st 4 teams, take a punt then wait till the rest get announced.  I'd suggest some extra cash, maybe $80k to pick a more expensive option than have deadwood on the pine
