I've currently got the C on JPK, i just don't like that 60 Gablett go against the saints last year. JPK is a certain 125+ where as Ablett could go 60-180.

Last 3 games vs opposition.

JPK vs GWS - 123, 137 = 130

GAJ vs StK - 138, 143, 61 = 114

Pendles vs NM - 162, 160, 86 = 136

Swan vs NM - 127, 152, 132. = 137

I never like to back against Ablett, but that said Kennedy is playing gws and swan/pendles both have pretty impressive records against north who don't often use a heavy tag. If your going against Ablett though I'd pick swan, cant go past his huge ceiling.

If I'm not mistaken, that 62 from GAJ last year was the week after he was sloughtered in the media for taking to much easy possession from team mates so he went out the next week and basically proved a point and they got demolished. Then he went back to his old ball magnet ways

I would ignore the 61 of GAJ and 86 of Pendles

I would also ignore the GWS factor

what risk does each have

GAJ - only thing I can think of is talk of playing slightly different role - is that a killer? dont think so.

JPK - coming off a big breakout year, premiership hangover - being the type of bloke he is I doubt that will affect him.

Swan - ??????

Pendles - ??????

Do any of them start the season slow?
Last year Swan started with a 92.,then followed this up with 100 the next week and then 109

Any reason not to go with Pendles ????

As good as Swan is, he actually hasn't played North in two years. A lot can change in that time.

G'day Dr. JFK as vc and Gazza as captain. There's about 45 mins between the games and if JFK really smashes it may be tempted to look at the cap loophole using perhaps Leuey or Stevie J or again perhaps a rookie not availlable for rd 1, but a certain starter rds 2 or 3.     ;)
