Hard to judge without doing a draft! And even then it's difficult to know how the particular rules and sizes for the different leagues will play out throughout the year. That said, I think getting the obvious premium choices outside of the midfield, is pretty important. If you don't have a couple of guns in DEF, FOR, and RUC, you'll end up having to draft spuds. Whereas there are plenty of decent midfield picks.

Ricochet

I've done one and basically...
a) if you have a top 2 pick take Swan or GAJ
b) if your outside that, take Gibbs/Goddard/Rocky
c) then look at 110+ midfielders
d) if no 110+ mids are left look at 95+ defenders and forwards

There are showerloads of mids around the 100-105 mark so once all the 110+ mids are gone I would look at your defenders and fwds

Jukes

A few blokes who will slip a bit and you should grab,

Hibberd
HamMac
Carrazzo
Thomas
de Boer
Blair
Bellchambers

My draft team I picked last night is killer.
D: Shaw, Reilly, Dempsey, Taylor, Ellis (Armstrong)
M: Cotchin, Pendles, Stants, O'Keefe, McVeigh, Gibson (Carrazzo)
R: Ryder, Bellchambers (McIntosh)
F: Thomas, Robinson, de Boer, Blair, Howe (Bird)
