In the Dons last hit out before season proper played in the guts.

He is too slow to be an outside midfielder and with Watson the tank around ball ups...still not sure on Heppells job description

Flown under the radar it seems...Im starting to think Heppell will be a must have at seasons end

May as well save 100K or so and start with him

Anyone been to a dons pre season game? Has he stacked on the beef?

Locked in my side! I sense a massive third year breakout, especially with the move into the guts. With another preseason under his belt there will be no more 70/80 points at the half then ending up on 80/90. He had 97 SC points in 51% of game time last night! Heppell looks good for a 95-100 average for 2013 and may end up at 520k+.

Where did you get that info hawkers ie sc score? He excites me a lot this preseason but I'm just not too sure on him.. In my side atm

Hagebear

Yeh he's starting to turn into a lock. He's 4th in line to get a tag behind Goddard, Stanton and Watson. Will push 100 this year.

I liked AFL Prospectus on FB and after most games they post the top SC scorers from each game. Here are all the SC stuff they mentioned last night:

"97 #SuperCoach points for Heppell"
"5 goals straight and 124 #SuperCoach points for Tex Walker at 3/4 time."
"Full time Giants vs Bombers #SuperCoach Watson 150, Ryder 146, Goddard 118, Bellchambers 103, Hibberd 101 and Myers 100" Patrick Ryder smashing the Giants - 83 #SuperCoach points at half time"

Unfortunately they didn't mention any final SC scores for the Carl v Adel game :(

No worries!

I just wish they didn't play gws and win by a mile so I could gain a better opinion.
Do people think he's a better option than guys like Hanley, grimes and Hartlett?

ronl

Maybe not better, but certainly just as good as those three right now.

If it helps, all 3 of the alternatives you've mentioned have demonstrated a higher ceiling than Heppell.

That's not to say Heppell won't increase his ceiling (he will I'm sure), just looking at it from an 'achieved' perspective.
