Currently have Gaz, Pendles, Swam, Jelwood and Murhpy - all $600K

Thinking of dropping one for Bennell and upgrading Goldy but can't bring myself to it as I'll invariably trade them back in again...

i have 5 super premo too.  i dont see it bad.

Peter

So what is your plan to get to 8 premos quickly then, if got 5-6 now. How going to make money?

GoLions

Don't see anything wrong with it. If you're not fielding any midfield mid-pricers (eg. moloney, ball, etc.), then I don't see why you wouldn't have 5 players over $600k.

I'm going 4 + Mundy as my 5th mid. Mundy imo will average over 110 this year.

Your salary cap can only stretch so far.

That much tied up in mids must leave you relatively weak elsewhere.

Major problem I have with it, is the potential lack of serious cash cows elsewhere.

Mid rookies rule! OK!

I currently have 3 + Priddis ($588k, so basically $600k), Mundy, and Moloney as M6. I also think Mundy will go 110+, hopefully 115 :)
Moloney could easily become a rookie though, will just have to wait and see who's named round 1 and who isn't.

got 5 as well in fact almost same 5(cotchin for selwood),winning games & leagues is my object not so much making money as others mention,my backs will still be strong heppell hartlett gibbs broughton goodes docherty vlastuin terlich & yes goddard is a #6 mid & i have cox leuey daw & currie as rucks, forward line is the 1 that will suffer but kennedy varcoe(changable with rockliff) & byrnes are there & are all top 18 players at their clubs, macaffer winderlich knights rowe(changable with cox)& lee may need to be tinkered with but 1 thing will be sure, the 8 i choose will all play round 1,i think i can devote at least 20 of my trades to the forward line alone, the other lines take care of themselves for most of the year & ive got 7 guys inc goddard & rocky pumping out big scores every week in the midfield

mid rookie rules  do u often rule.

not always if u look at the top 20 prices increases the last few years there always been quarter to half list are defenders.

I like the theory of having heaps of rookie mids ,
but  wont you get to far behind the 8ball in points overall if u have say 3 prem mid.

the way u would have to rely on to make your extra money would be the midprice fwd or defends u choose to go up to get your two extra premo mid u need. or your mid rookie on the bench.

kilbluff1985

I'd rather Cox and Buddy up forward then a 5th mid as they both average like 600k mids and the mid rookie you get will average more then the forward rookie also

Have managed to get 16 potential keepers in my current team

Footyrulz

thats fien i reckon as long as u have the rookies u want in midfield. u dont want more than 3 anyway though.

Tend to think 5 is to many as your fwd's will be considerably weakened and the points you make in the middle will be lost more up fwd .
