Goddard is the most selected player so far, based mostly on hype of being at a new club. He is dwarfing Heater in selections by 30%. How much better is he really going to be? Last two seasons at st kilda were on par with Shaw. Also, does the new 6 second kick in rule from the NAB cup come into play this season? If so that could boost shaw's points if kicking to yourself counts as a stat. Saw him do it heaps sunday night.

Could be a good POD.

Thoughts?

Ricochet

Considering the only time Shaw went 101+ was in 2007 and Goddard has gone 101+ in his last 5 seasons with 107, 130 and 115 in that time... It shouldn't even be close.

Goddard is ahead of shaw but I have both locked in

He was not happy at the saints and has been promised more mid time at the Bombers and the players will look for him like they do Watson  I think he is rejuvenated and will be back to his best

Southstorm

Going to go out on a limb here and boldly state that there will more players than just Bryce Gibbs who start priced lower than Shaw and finish worth more than him. It isn't that he's past it but there are a good five other players who have the potential to outscore him this year. Starting him isn't for me, will look to him as an upgrade.

Shaw is a great battler, hard trier and great team man, but he's not in the class of footballer as Goddard

He brought up Gibbs to make a point about Heater. :)

You just noticed this now? He does it every time he takes a kick out, he pads his stats ridiculously every game. This has been happening for the last couple of years.
