Ok, this is a very unique team.

Backs
Gibbs is a backline gun lock him in.
Harry taylor is a very unique pick especially as your D2, in his 5 years his highest average was 87.1 in "10" and 87 last year. Unless you can see him improving significantly this year for only a little more you can get a player who will average 95+ as your D2.
Heppell is a solid player and i hope the addition of Goddard improves his scoring not hinders it.
Gwilt and Armstrong in my opinion are bad picks. Shouldn't score a heap more than a rookie but cost considerably more, i would downgrade one to a rookie (maybe Pittard or Terlich) and upgrade the other.
Rookie choices at this stage are fine till round 1 reveals all.

Midfield
I like this line but feel you are a super premo short (120+ player) Try upgrade one of Murphy or Priddis to a JPK/Pendles. I would turn Whitfield into Oliver Wines, he should score about the same and costs a bit less. Move Varcoe to the forwards and bring in Brad Crouch as a rookie

Rucks
These are fine selections without, Cox in the forward line there is no need to worry about a DPP rookie. Daw is currently injured swollen knees i think, i would look at Witts instead.

Forwards
Franklin, Zorko and Martin all good selections IMO with Varcoe moved forward to replace Stringer as he was injured on the weekend (twisted ankle). If you have enough spare money left i would upgrade Schulz because as a KPP he only scores well when he kicks big bags of goals.

Hope this helps!

thanks for the feedback its appreciated im just stuck on my forward line now!

i agree Gwilt and Armstrong are bad picks along with Schulz and better options then Taylor

you are struggling up forward because your spending to much cash in defense and midfield

team would look better like this

Goddard, Gibbs, Heppell, Atley + Rookies

Ablett, Dangerfield, Murphy, Priddis, Cotchin + Rookies

Franklin L, Zorko D, Martin, Robinson, Varcoe + Rookies

something like that looks much better to me
