Rookies in your squad

There may have been a thread on this earlier in pre-season but I guess now we're closer to our final structures so thought I'd revisit the issue.

ATM I've got 12 in a 4-3-2-3 format. 4 blokes on ground - 2 defenders, 1 midfielder, 1 FWD

Think I've done well in getting little rooks without going to over the top with MP's. There are some good DEF and MID rooks going around but we are struggling for Ruck and FWD rooks. Most of us should start with 3 FWD rooks, going with anymore and... well good luck finding one

How many expensive rookies are people going for as well?? I've got Pittard, Goodes and Caff who are over 120k but blokes like Wines, Lonergan and Vlastuin are pretty popular as well.

4-5-2-3 format for me. Having depth in rookie mids helps, but lack of rookie forwards, is a worry.

That's including Macaffer as a rookie but not Patton.

4, 5, 2, 2. Due to lack of good rookie forwards have none of them on the ground. The 13 stated includes Macaffer and Staker.

I gather you meant rookie priced players and not just rookie players??

i got 14 atm in a 3 - 6 - 2 - 3 structure with 6 on the ground if that's not obvious.

Patton should be rookie classified his cheaper than whitfield who is definitely a rookie.

Has had a whole season of afl though...

I reckon rookies are classified as players with either 0 seasons of afl experience of a cheap player coming off injuries who is under 150k.

I class cheap/rookie equal to or less than previous number one draft, difference of opinion only.
